If you are thinking about developing a new workout, there are several important things to consider.  First, outline your goals.  The makeup of your workout will determine what type of benefits you reap from the exercise.  If you want to lose weight, you will likely want a different overall workout than if your intent was to increase your cardio condition.  Next, determine how much time and effort you are realistically willing to dedicate to your workout.  A workout will only benefit you if you are willing to stick with it.  Finally, check with your doctor to be certain that the workout you have decided upon is safe and effective.
